Accessibility

The CETAC web site is compliant with the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Section 508 requires that individuals with disabilities, who are members of the public seeking information or services from us, have access to and use of information and data that is comparable to that provided to the public who are not individuals with disabilities, unless an undue burden would be imposed on us. Section 508 also requires us to ensure that Federal employees with disabilities have access to and use of information and data that is comparable to the access to and use of information and data by Federal employees who are not individuals with disabilities, unless an undue burden would be imposed on us.

Plug-ins and Viewers

These plug-ins and viewers allow users to view various types of files on cetac.org. These links are provided for the user's convenience. The U.S. Department of Education does not control or guarantee the accuracy, relevance, timeliness, or completeness of these outside links. Further, the inclusion of these links is not intended to reflect their importance, nor is it intended to endorse any views expressed, or products or services offered, on these outside sites, or the organizations sponsoring the sites.

Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word is a word processing application. Viewers and Converters for Word documents are available from Microsoft. Converters allow users to open files that were created using different versions of Microsoft Word (e.g. Word 95, Word 2000, Word 2003). Viewers allow users who don't have Microsoft Word to view Word files.

PDF (Portable Document Format)

Adobe Acrobat PDF files are used to retain the formatting of original documents. To view these files, the user will need to download the free Adobe reader.
